THE ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION
The Alumnae Association is an important organization in the life of Mount de Sales Academy. The alumnae bring together the academy's past, present, and future. It is particularly important for the alumnae to step forward to volunteer and ensure that the academy continues to thrive for the young women who will follow in our footsteps, just as we received the support of the alumnae who came before us.

Come join the fun and participate in any one of these exciting events!  Remember, YOU make can make it happen. Help is needed at all Alumnae functions. Please, consider investing your time.

Monthly Meetings
Monthly, 7 p.m. - Alumnae Hall
The Alumnae Association meets the second Tuesday of each month (except December). Come meet your representatives and take an active role in the future of YOUR school! All alumnae are welcome and invited to attend.

Crab Feast
Saturday, August 21, 2010 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
4 p.m. Mass -St. Francis de Sales Chapel
5 - 9 p.m. The Feast - Mount de Sales Academy Grounds
Ticket price: $50 per person. Menu: CRABS, steamed shrimp, pit turkey, hamburgers, crab dip, potato salad, fruit salad, corn on the cob, beer, sodas, water, iced tea, lemonade, desserts!
50/50 Raffle, Bocce Ball and Corn Hole Bean Bag Toss, Prizes, and Music by "The After Dinner Spinners." All proceeds benefit the MDSA Alumnae Association Scholarship and events. Tickets will not be sold at the door. This is a 21 and over event. Please make checks payable to the MDSA Alumnae Association. Come cheer on the Sailors in sporting events while enjoying pit turkey and sweet treats. The kids will be entertained with many different activities and music. Buy a 2010 Homecoming T-shirt, visit the Sailor Shop or Parents' Club craft table, support student activities and take a tour of your alma mater!

Alumnae Memorial Mass
Sunday, November 14, 2010 11:00 a.m.

Gather in prayer with your fellow alumnae in the school's main chapel, the Chapel of St. Francis de Sales, to remember the women who came before us, whose footsteps we followed when we "walked through the windows" of the Music Hall. All deceased alumnae, and members of the Mount de Sales community especially those who have died during the past year, will be remembered during this Mass.  Please join us for a light reception immediately following Mass.

Christmas Bazaar and Spaghetti Dinner
Sunday, December 5, 2010 - 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Alumnae Association hosts a "New to You" table at the Parents' Club's annual Christmas Bazaar. The alumnae table features new items which have been donated and are available to shoppers for getting a head start on some early Christmas shopping.

Alumnae Wine and Cheese & Christmas Concert
Friday, December 10, 2010 - 5:45 p.m.

Join us for a Wine and Cheese Social in Alumnae Hall and the Christmas Concert featuring members of the Mount de Sales orchestra, chorus, and concert choir, in the Music Hall. This is a great way to celebrate the season with other Mount de Sales alumnae and families. This even welcomes all MDSA alumnae over the age of 21.
