| Both new and returning students have an opportunity to select their course of study and to evaluate their program in terms of their objectives.
For graduation, Mount de Sales Academy requires 26 credits as follows:

In addition to completing the course requirements for graduation, students must perform community service (50 hours each year for freshmen and sophomores; 30 hours each year for juniors and seniors) and they must attend all scheduled retreats during their four years at Mount de Sales Academy. Each student also is expected to complete summer reading requirements and cultural experience requirements in each of her four years at Mount de Sales Academy.
