The Board of Trustees, the administration, the faculty and the students of Mount de Sales Academy dedicate themselves to the pre-eminent goal of more fully knowing, loving and serving the Triune God and preserving the unique traditions of the Academy. In the practice of daily living, this all encompassing endeavor results in an educational atmosphere which is uniquely Christian and specifically Catholic.

Mount de Sales Academy is a private, Catholic, secondary school for young women in which traditional disciplines are enhanced by those practices which are most effective in modern methods of teaching. The highest degree of excellence remains the educational goal. Education of the whole student, intellectually, physically, morally and socially within the larger context of faith in the absolute standards of the Gospels is the aim of the school.

The school provides an academic college preparatory program organized to contribute to the growth of the truly Christian woman and her ability to contribute to society. She is taught to acquire independence of thought, self-discipline, self-control and consideration for others with a sensitivity and awareness that will help her reach true maturity.

The faculty supports the belief that parents are the primary educators of their children and accepts the privileged role of aiding parents in the education of their daughters. Love of family life is fostered as a value and broadened to love and respect for the community, the country, and the world.

With Mary as our model, we strive to develop young women who will nurture future generations in the love of God, the well-being of their fellow man and the desire to reach out to truth and to discover it in their lives.
