Central to the Mount de Sales Academy building is the chapel where daily our students, faculty, and staff have the opportunity to participaate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and to visit Jesus as they pass to and from their classes. Parents, friends, and benefactors of Mount de Sales also frequent the chapel to kneel in adoration before Jesus, exposed in the Blessed Sacrament.

In addition to enjoying time/place for personal prayer, our students attend Holy Mass the First Friday of each month and on special occasions. Regular opportunities are also available to the students for receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation in addition to their time of annual retreat.

Each school day and every class begins and ends with prayer. With a clear focus established, each girl is then able to concentrate her efforts in doing her best and being her best. Beyond the academic emphasis, strong encouragement is given to the development of well-rounded young women who are ready to take their place in the world. Called to serve by a Gospel mandate, students respond by volunteering in area hospitals, assisting in parish youth programs, working with the elderly and others who need help, and through participating in such public projects as the March for Life and the Living Rosary.
